How we use your answers
AI Accelerator welcome & exit forms · Last updated 21 July 2026
This notice explains what we collect when you fill in the welcome form (before your AI Accelerator experience) or the exit form (afterwards), why we collect it, how long we keep it, who processes it for us, and the rights you have. It covers only these forms — it is separate from the AI Accelerator Learn Platform's own privacy notice.
1. Who we are
These forms are provided by AI Accelerator Limited (“we”, “us”), a company registered in England & Wales (company no. 14725861), registered office 2 Appleby Yard, Soames Walk, Design District, London SE10 0BJ. For the information you submit through these forms, AI Accelerator Limited is the data controller.
If you are attending through your employer or another organisation, that organisation may also hold this information as part of its own records; you can raise a data request with either us or them.
2. What we collect and why
We collect only what we need to prepare for your experience, tailor it to you, and understand its impact. Some fields are required — your name, email, organisation, and the three AI self-ratings (knowledge, confidence, and how often you use AI) — and the rest are optional.
| Data | Examples | Why we hold it |
|---|---|---|
| Your details | Name, email, phone (optional), organisation, your role | To identify you, contact you about your experience, and understand your context |
| Where you are with AI | Self-rated AI knowledge, confidence, and how often you use AI | To tailor the experience to your starting point and, comparing welcome to exit, to measure how far you've come |
| Your context & interests (welcome) | Tools you've used, whether they're paid for, use cases, your “holy grail”, key questions, areas of interest | To shape the content around what's useful to you |
| Your feedback (exit) | Star rating, what you liked, what could be better, whether you'd recommend us, any other comments | To improve the AI Accelerator experience |
| Support needs (welcome) | Any special learning requirements you choose to tell us | To make reasonable adjustments so you can take part fully |
We do not sell your data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not use it to train AI models.
3. Sensitive information (special category data)
4. Lawful basis
Under the UK GDPR we rely on:
- Consent — you choose to complete the form and submit your answers. You can withdraw your consent at any time (see §7); this does not affect anything we did before you withdrew.
- Legitimate interests — to understand and improve the AI Accelerator experience, using your responses in aggregate wherever possible.
- Explicit consent — for any special category information you volunteer in the support-needs field (see §3).
5. Who processes it for us
We run these forms using a small number of vetted providers, each bound by a data-processing agreement:
| Provider | Role | Data location |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase | Stores your form responses (database & hosting) | EU (eu-west-3, France) |
| Vercel | Serves the form pages and receives your submission | US-based, global edge network |
Your responses are stored in the EU. Where a provider processes data outside the UK/EU, the transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards (the UK International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum, or Standard Contractual Clauses).
6. How long we keep it
We keep your form responses for up to 24 months after your AI Accelerator experience, so we can prepare for it, measure its impact, and act on your feedback. After that we delete them or remove the details that identify you (name, email, phone, organisation, and any free text) so that only anonymous, aggregated statistics remain. You can ask us to delete your responses sooner at any time.
7. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access the information we hold about you, and receive a copy.
- Rectify anything that is wrong or incomplete.
- Erasure of your responses (“right to be forgotten”).
- Portability — receive your responses in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Restrict or object to our use of your responses.
- Withdraw consent at any time, including for any sensitive information you shared.
There is no fee to exercise your rights. Contact hello@aiaccelerator.uk and we'll respond within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we handle your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the UK regulator:
Information Commissioner's Office (ICO)
Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire SK9 5AF
Helpline: 0303 123 1113 · ico.org.uk
8. Security
Your responses are encrypted in transit and at rest and held in the EU. Access is restricted to authorised AI Accelerator staff, protected by multi-factor authentication, and the form itself cannot read back other people's submissions. AI Accelerator Limited holds Cyber Essentials Plus certification, an independently audited UK government-backed scheme.
9. Cookies & storage
These forms set no cookies and use no advertising or tracking. We load a web font from Google Fonts to display the page. Nothing you type is stored on your device by us.
10. Changes and contact
We'll update this notice if these forms change, and post the current version here. Questions or requests: hello@aiaccelerator.uk.
